The California State Fair is located at 1600 Exposition Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95815. The California State Fair Harness Racing is organized here every year, throughout August until the middle of September.
In August during the Fair exhibitions, concerts, special merchandise attract visitors besides the races. Wagering is possible during the races and there will be special promotions available as well, for some lucky ones who will be chosen to participate in wagering. If they wager correctly in more rounds they can win big prizes.
Dachshund Derby is another traditional race organized during the Fair, but this is not a horse race, however wagering is just as well possible. The Dachshund Derby is a dog race and from the income those local dogs will benefit who are in need.
Kids will also have fun during the races they can join the Poppy Pals Club and have fun here.
In case you want to name a harness race after a loved one, yourself or your companys name you may buy sponsorship packages. This package costs $150 and your name will be announced as sponsor, you getting a special seat and even take a photo with the winners.
