Jefferson County Racing Association, Inc is the corporate name of Birmingham Race Course, located at Exit 31 off Interstate 459 in Birmingham between Irondale and Trussville, Alabama.
Visitors will take part in live greyhound and horse racing 52 week per year from all over the States. The minimum wager is $2. Win, Place, Show, Across the Board, Daily Double, Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick Three or Pick Six, Peri-Mutual Wagering are the types of wagering available at Birmingham Race Course. So, the consignment is quite rich.
The minimum required age is 19 in order top play and alcohol is served only to those who are older than 21. Admission is free to anyone. Casual, but proper dressing is required and the management reserves the right to deny the access of those dressed improperly. This is a place where you can eat, drink, watch races and have fun in the same time.
General parking is free, valet parking is $3. The race house operates throughout the year. When presenting your bank card you will be asked for your drivers license or another ID card.
