Live Thoroughbred horse races are organized and they usually begin at late spring. The schedules are posted on the site. If you plan to visit Assiniboia Downs know that admission is free and no parking fee is charged. Admission in the Club House costs $2.
Simulcast Races are organized throughout the year and Assiniboia Downs is as well open year-round.
Group meetings, banquets, celebrations or other special events may be organized at an elegant restaurant and room at Assiniboia Downs Entertainment, Hospitality and Exhibition Centre. Dining of course is possible here without reservations. The Restaurant is waiting for its visitors with different menus. During races dining is possible at the Terrace Dining Room, so you can enjoy two things at the same time.
Assiniboia Downs is not just a race house; on the second level you will find about 140 video gaming machines. The lounge is open daily between 9:00 am and 2:00 am.
As if the year round entertainment wasnt enough the Race Club has occasional events and promotions to increase your excitement. Some events organized are: Horse Play Tournaments, Gaming nights, or Seniors Bingo.
